Training in Literature Research and Administration
All students should attend the University Library training courses before writing their first academic paper.
The training courses explain how to use the University Library and provide practice in searching for literature in catalogues and databases. The following events are offered by the University Library (registration is usually required):
- Introduction to the general catalogues
e.g. OPAC, electronic card catalogue, Gemeinsamer Bibliotheksverbund GBV - Introduction to databases
Provides knowledge for conducting research in databases containing humanities literature - Introduction to reference management programmes
