Teacher-Training Degree Course for Gymnasium (secondary schools up to year 12)

The goal of the partial degree course in Philosophy is to prepare students for a career in teaching philosophy at higher secondary level. You will gain knowledge of the key epochs and disciplines of philosophy, as well as the methods and techniques used in the field. The Philosophy degree course enables you to initiate and actively shape learning and educational processes in Philosophy. In addition, you will acquire fundamental knowledge of didactics for teaching philosophy to children and young people, and practise the planning, design, and delivery of philosophy lessons.

Teaching practice

Practical training is integrated into the degree course from the 2nd semester onwards to ensure the practice-oriented training of teachers. Students can apply, consolidate, and reflect on their theoretical knowledge through practice, with pedagogical and didactic guidance.
