Corina Strößner studied Philosophy and German Literature and Language in Rostock and received her doctorate in 2012 with a thesis on normality judgements at Saarland University. Since then, she has conducted research on questions of rationality, conceptual learning and natural concepts at the University of Konstanz (2012-2014), Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (2015-2020), Ruhr University Bochum (2020-2024) and Birkbeck College, University of London (2022-2023).

Her teaching focuses on logic, philosophy of language, and the theory of science and epistemology. In the winter semester 2024/2025, she substituted a professorship for Philosophy of Science at the University of Wuppertal.
