Theoretical Philosophy

Teaching:

The Theoretical Philosophy section gives introductory courses on logic, epistemology and philosophy of science as well as advanced courses on philosophical logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and the history of analytic philosophy.

Research:

We study fundamental questions in the philosophy of (collective) action, epistemology, philosophy of language, and metaphysics, using concepts and methods from philosophical logic, decision theory, and game theory. We also publish on modal and many-valued logic and on the history of analytic philosophy.
